ABOUT OUR SOCIETY
Biological Sciences Society, SS, HKUSU (香港大學學生會理學會生物科學學會) was first founded in 2011. The Society is an academic society affiliated to Science Society, HKUSU.
The aims of the Society are:
To act as a bridge between Members and the School in furthering the interests of BS and MBB Students as a whole
To provide general welfare for Members - To promote the interest in BS and MBB within the University
To promote comradeship and spirit among Members
To serve as the official representative body of all Members of the Society
ABOUT US
Session 2018-2019 Cabinet
Eden
The Cabinet, Eden, consists of eight Executive Committee Members. “Eden” is the biblical “garden of God”, which is also called paradise. Eden hopes to provide Members and each Member in the Cabinet with a fruitful year filled with happiness, as if all of us were in a paradise-like place. With the spirit of bearing responsibility and sharing honour as a whole, Eden aims to tackle challenges ahead with collaborative efforts. The representative colour of the Cabinet is pink. Pink symbolizes friendship, harmony, approachability, niceness and playfulness. All these qualities of ours would forge the cornerstone for Eden to successfully act as the bridge of communication between Members, past Sessions of Executive Committee Members, members from neighboring societies and teaching staff.
